Tracy has been with MSNV for 19 years starting in the Extended day program in 2005. She earned her Early Childhood credential at the Northeast Montessori Institute in Ashburn and taught in a Primary classroom for 13 years and then worked as Teacher Support for 2 years including the Elementary program. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Special Needs Education with focuses on Autism and Psychology and has training in Orton-Gillingham comprehensive and intermediate levels and for the last 2 years has been the Learning Resource Teacher. Tracy has two older children that attended MSNV, and a 5 year old son attending primary at Sleepy Hollow.
We look forward to welcoming Monica to the Preprimary teaching team at Sleepy Hollow. She has several years of experience working in a Montessori classroom.
Jana Horne is a Montessori educator with over thirteen years of experience across Toddler, Primary, and Elementary classrooms. Initially drawn to Montessori while seeking a school for her first child, Jana now holds an Elementary Credential from the Prepared Montessorian and is in her third year with the Preprimary program at the Montessori School of Northern Virginia (MSNV). As a mother of six children, aged 2 to 14, she brings practical insights into raising children with the Montessori mindset. Jana is dedicated to connecting children and parents with the Montessori Method, fostering growth and independence. Outside the classroom, she is busy with her children's activities but always makes time for a good cup of coffee and reading.
Diana joined MSNV in 2010 as the office manager. She supports the staff, families, and students and works in a variety of ways to ensure MSNV operates smoothly and efficiently. She received her Bachelor’s degree in English with a concentration in Film and Media Studies from George Mason University.
